DE Teddy Lawrence, affectionately known as Laurie, is a compact 16hh bay Thoroughbred gelding.
Laurie was raced as ‘Lope de Broker’ before becoming a nanny to yearlings, and has since found a place at Dockerty Equestrian where he has thrived as a performance horse, specifically eventing. With his first eventing start in EvA60 at Denman Horse Trials beginning with a 4th place after the dressage phase with 63.44%, followed up by 2 clear rounds to drop to 10th, Laurie shows potential in all phases, and shows scope for possible star level eventing with the right rider. Currently, Laurie is entered in EvA80 at Tamworth Horse Trials.
Now based on a showjumping yard, Laurie is showing a penchant for showjumping and after Tamworth Horse Trials will be pursuing a career more direct in showjumping, in line with my discipline change.
With exposure to sheep, cattle, busy roads, trains and railway crossings, as well as working dogs and cats, Laurie is a very mature gentleman for his age. He has shown a sound head, and good trainability.
Service Fee – ‘Drumming R’
“Rider: Heath Ryan
Owner: Heath and Rozzie Ryan
Level: Novice/Elementary level dressage
Drumming R is our superstar baby and his first progeny are looking magnificent. We think they are to die for. Drumming R is by De Niro who was the number one sire of Grand Prix dressage horses in the world. De Niro is responsible for legends like Desperados FRH (Kristina Bröring-Spreh), Du Soleil (Kristy Oatley’s best horse ever), Deja (Patrik Kittel), and so on and so on. De Niro is responsible for some 445 registered FEI international dressage horses. Simply amazing! Drumming R is out of the Totilas mare Top of the Morning R. Totilas is still considered today as the best dressage horse ever seen, and we are unlikely to see another horse like that for another 100 years. Totilas broke all world records. The Totilas bloodlines are only just now starting to hit the competition scene. Drumming R is, as far as we know, one of the first colts available in the world to combine the blue chip De Niro dynasty with the Totilas bloodlines. Drumming R is now in work under saddle and his first competition outing is imminent. We very clearly here at Ryans Horses have a reputation of taking beautifully bred young colts right through to the Grand Prix competition arena. Here we come. Drumming R does represent the very edges of genetics of the dressage world and his first foals do have everyone talking. Keep your money on him!
Chilled semen only. “

Jazzier Than Jazz (Jazz)
This boy is worth his weight in gold. He was bought a few years ago as a confidence booster for my eldest daughter; a job which he fulfilled phenomenally well.
At 60, 80 and 95 Jazz is a schoolmaster who is always in the placings! In 2019/20 he was campaigned by my younger daughter (she was 14 in 2019) quickly moving up the grades.
Jazz always places in the top 5 in the dressage with calm and accurate tests (even with a nervous nellie on board). Competing successfully at elementary dressage, 1.10 SJ and 95cms Eventing, schooling up 2 star XC, he can then turn around and be a beginner’s pony, happy to do ‘around the world’ and be on the lunge. He’s been there done that. Jazz is an absolute pleasure to work with, you can whip him out of the paddock and get on him and he won’t put a foot wrong. Perfect to shoe/float/worm/clip etc
At 15.2hh and 18yrs old he’s the perfect confidence booster for a child to learn the ropes on or even a small adult who just wants to have fun on a super safe schoolmaster. Jazz is extremely healthy and sound.
Keldan Park La Vie En Rose (Belle)
Belle is a 6YR OLD 15.2hh Bay Thoroughbred mare. Too slow to race, now in training with Chloe. Having only just turned 6 years old, Belle has a lovely big trot with natural cadence. She has established walk, trot, and canter transitions and has some very basic lateral training. Belle is a cracker cross country horse and is completely honest with her rider. No problems with water, skinnies, or ditches, she has gained lots of confidence in show-jumping and is clearing 60 cm. Her first outing was at Denman Pony Club ODE in the E grade (equivalent to 45 cms) where she scored 70.63% in the dressage and ended up 7th overall. Belle loves to work and will make a good project for an up-and-coming rider or an adult rider. She has only had a few outings at this stage, (due to COVID19) mostly group cross country lessons where she behaved impeccably. She has also gone cross-country schooling on her own and tends to be ridden at home alone. She is completely chill walking along roads, and her yard is next to the busy New England Highway. She is super easy to catch and float. The biggest thing we have noticed about this mare is her chill attitude! She doesn’t spook and takes absolutely everything in her stride, totally willing to attempt whatever you ask of her, whether it be going to pony club, an ODE, jump club, or a trail ride. Whilst green, Belle is able to be taken anywhere and asked to do anything and she will do her best to please her rider. She will be suited to low-level eventing or dressage or just a lovely pleasure horse. Belle is super sweet and friendly, very food orientated, and loves her people. With TB bloodlines going back to Redoubte’s Choice, Northern Dancer, and Bletchingly she is sure to please! Belle is only a few months off the track so please no beginners.
